The Man behind Baek Seung Jo of Playful Kiss

Mischievous Kiss/Playful Kiss is the newest drama craze on Korea today or even on Asia. The drama is currently not doing any good when it comes to ratings but it is smashing hot on overseas viewers as it is one of the most downloaded drama in the internet today. The main casts aren't veterans, both are starting fresh. Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min are the protagonists of the drama. Many are noticing their chemistry and can see a future in them.
Jung So Min received lots of praise about her acting and many noticed Kim Hyun Joong's acting improvement. Kim Hyun Joong is often criticized about his acting back on his Ji Hoo days (BOF) but because of this drama, after 4 episodes he nearly proving them wrong. Kim Hyun Joong is one of the Hottest Male Artist in Korea today or even in the World. Overseas viewers like from Greece, England, Spain etc. etc. are slowly noticing how hot this man can be. Kim Hyun Joong is playing the character of Baek Seung Jo of Mischievous Kiss/Playful Kiss. Baek Seung Jo is a student where he has an IQ of 200, almost perfect on everything, snob and a mean guy. 

Viewers are going gaga while watching this drama especially when Baek Seung Jo is on the screen. I read comments like 'Baek Seung Jo is hot' 'He killed me with that smile' 'That smirk is worth a million' that ranting up on comment page and forums of this drama. 
They are dying to see this man in every episode. 

There was a time when I dropped by in a Playful Kiss chat forum, it was a stampede. They are all going crazy while watching the live stream of the drama. They are not from Korea so all they can do is watch it online. Comments like stated above, are always present on the chat thread. 
But I was wondering whether these girls know the real Baek Seung Jo. The Man behind Baek Seung Jo is of course Kim Hyun Joong, but do they know the real Kim Hyun Joong?
Okay, PKers let me introduce to you the real Kim Hyun Joong.^_^

Kim Hyun Joong is a 25 year old (korea age) kpop idol turning actor. He is the Leader of the popular korean boy band SS501.

His first love is Music. He has a band back on his high school days where he played as the bass player. After that, he trained in DSP for almost 8 years and debuted as SS501 Leader back in 2005. He is the Leader because he is the oldest, but he also give justice as a leader because he took good care of his members but not in an obvious way. His co-members are Heo Young Saeng (lead vocal) Kim Kyu Jong, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Joon ( youngest). Each of them have animal nicknames and Kim Hyun Joong is called 'Dog' because of his puppy-like eyes. He is not the type of Leader who is making demands, and always the loudest person in a group. Kim Hyun Joong is a quiet type leader. He let his members shine on their own way. He is often quiet when they are together because he gives way for his members to shine. 

He always teases his members especially the youngest Kim Hyung Joon.

 

His partner in crime in teasing this guy is Park Jung Min.

Kim Hyun Joong is not the man you know he is. He isn't that quiet and prim guy. If you knew him well, he is a crazy person. His mind is from out of this world. That is why he is also called '4D' king. But He is even crazier when he is with his group, well even lethal.LOL. He is really a born joker. ^_^
He is also talented. He can sing, dance (HOT!), can play the guitar and piano. He is witty, more of like Baek Seung Jo. Well that is the only thing he got from Baek Seung Jo.
He is paired up to Hwang Bo as one of the make-believe couple in a reality show 'We got Married'. In that show, you will see the real Kim Hyun Joong. You will see good and bad side of his personality. It's really a must-see show if you are curious about this guy.

Recently, he got into a car accident. He suffered from bruised ribs and abrasions resulting him and his group to only sing ballad song in their performance in 2010 Dream Concert in Korea because he was told by his doctor not to dance for the mean time. But his passion won't stop him doing so. As SS501 released its new album "Destination", Leader Kim Hyun Joong did not hesitate to perform and dance for the fans despite of the pain he has. If you will observe their 'Love Ya' MV, he has a bandage on his tummy part while dancing. He didn't want to disappoint their fans so he ignored the pain and still performed for them. However, SS501 was rumored to be disbanded recently after Kim Hyun Joong left DSP and transferred to Key East. But Kim Hyun Joong the Leader of SS501, promised and cleared that SS501 is not disbanded and will never be. ^^,
